The project is linked to Article 3, paragraph 2 of the Italian Constitution and the principle of horizontal subsidiarity: «It is the duty of the Republic to remove the economic and social obstacles which, by limiting the freedom and equality of citizens, prevent the full development of the human person».
Expected results: increased life expectancy, more significant access to services, improved lifestyles.
The «City of Wellbeing» is an inclusive smart city: its inhabitants will be the young, the less young, people with disabilities and the elderly, with the understanding that treating diseases is important but preventing them is even more so. Quality of life means extending life expectancy while preserving individual autonomy.
For those who have suffered disabling accidents or compromised neurological or physical functions, the project focuses on social and professional reintegration through rehabilitative therapies, physical, psychological and neurological recovery, with artisan workshops and startups located within the facility.
